rising bollards at Dubai Arena, the region's largest indoor arena located in the heart of City Walk. These robust bollards are designed for protection against HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) and will withstand the impact of a regular saloon vehicle travelling at up to 20mph. Vehicle-borne threats can take the form of terrorist attacks or may be acts of vandalism. Whatever the criminal intent, buildings, and therefore people, are protected.
The mechanical components of the bollards themselves have been carefully selected to guarantee long operational life. Some of the many benefits of
rising bollards include the fact that up to six can be powered from one control cabinet. They are also inexpensive to operate and service, and all spare parts are light enough for one person to lift, thus reducing maintenance costs.
