Eagle Automation are pleased to announce that we have acquired the exclusive IP rights to the Clarke Instruments range of turnstiles. The product range consist of single and double turnstiles at SR1, SR2, SR3 and SR4. Clarke Instruments had built a reputation of manufacturing high quality robust turnstiles that were industry proven. Eagle will continue to manufacture and supply to the same high standards and develop the range to complement existing products and systems.
The double units in the turnstile range are comprehensive, encompassing SR1–SR3 rated turnstiles with straight bar rotors. The biggest single advantage of a double unit is that it fits in a single standard fence panel. The SR2 and 3 versions have straight bar rotors strengthened to meet the requirements of the LPS standard: The end panels have been modified for increased resilience.
LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) do all of the testing for an SR Rating. They have been setting standards for loss prevention since the 1800’s. Its standards and approvals for security products are also recognised across the world. That recognition is testimony to the extremely thorough technical evaluation work and rigorous quality audit processes undertaken by LPCB to ensure the security products it tests and approves also deliver proven levels of protection.
LPCB works closely with government, police, insurers, risk consultants and architects to develop standards and approval schemes which ensure security equipment and services deliver the levels of performance required to protect against criminal and terrorist threats.
Approval to LPCB’s Loss Prevention Standards (LPSs) is specified across multiple sectors, including: education, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, the public sector, residential, retail and also utilities. The standards are also specified for the protection of critical infrastructure where delivery of specified levels of security performance is critical.
