Impact Tested Bi-Folding Gates

Eagles impact tested Bi-Folding Gates have been successfully tested to PAS68 standards, stopping a goods vehicle of 7.5 tonnes at a speed of 50mph with only 0.70 meters of penetration and no debris.

Our impact tested bi-folding gates are constructed of the strongest materials and consist of a rigid post of which the bi-folding gate is then hinged on to.

These PAS68 Bi-Folding Gates are trackless as standard but available as tracked. In the trackless option the PAS68 bi-folding gate does not require any in ground or overhead tracks to fold the gate in half. This gate instead uses an in-house folding system housed inside the casing on top of the post hung leaf. In the tracked option, tracks are installed either over head or in ground to fold the gate in half.

The PAS68 Bi-Folding Gates, easily interfaced with any access control system and manufactured to a clear opening of 4.2m. Our bi-folding gates have been extensively researched, designed and developed to suit a range of security environments. Our exhaustive level of testing has ensured that our impact tested bi-folding gates meet our high standards.

Eagle Automations impact tested bi-folding gates are tried and trusted by our clients, including government, petrochemical, banking and financial, transport and public utilities. Our products are supported by our team of experienced and qualified installation engineers, commissioning personnel and maintenance engineers.

Our Trackless Bi-Folding Speed Gate utilises a unique drive mechanism to control the opening and closing of the bi-folding gate set. The safe mechanism controls both leaves simultaneously, producing a graceful yet fast motion. Our trackless design is unique to Eagle and allows the gate to move freely without height restriction or contact to a top or bottom track in the road surface.

With shallow foundation and extremely low penetration our fully crash tested Bi-Folding Speed gates, provide a superbly engineered design solution against hostile vehicle mitigation.
