Extensive pre-test stress calculations and CAD design involved in the gates development, ensured a high standard of results, even on its first ever test.
In 2012 Eagle Automation launched its PAS68 Trackless Bi-Folding Speed Gate with further enhancements for hostile vehicle protection.

Our Trackless Bi-Folding Speed Gate utilises a unique drive mechanism to control the opening and closing of the bi-folding gate set. The safe mechanism controls both leaves simultaneously, producing a graceful yet fast motion. Our trackless design is unique to Eagle and allows the gate to move freely without height restriction or contact to a top or bottom track in the road surface.
The patent applied for design applied to the ECG001 and PAS68 Bi-Folding Speed Gate, produced the best penetration classification in its class, with recognised, industry leading results.
Because of our impressive design and crash test results, Eagle Automation were requested to test an N3 vehicle collision at 50mph. Once again, the bi-folding speed gate system produced outstanding market leading results, with a penetration of 0.70 meters with no debris.
With shallow foundation and extremely low penetration our fully crash tested Bi-Folding Speed gates, provide a superbly engineered design solution against hostile vehicle mitigation.
