Cantilever gates do not require the ground surface to have a track in order for the gate to open which is an advantage over some tracked gates where a poorly installed gate could become removed from the track causing a dangerous situation.
Cantilever gates are much longer than a tracked sliding gate as the additional length acts as the counterbalance so that the gate is free to slide back and forth easily and supported throughout the entire opening/closing process.
Eagle cantilever gates are supplied with heavy duty cantilever rolling gear. These are selected and designed to suit the weight and size of the gate ensuring long life and smooth operation.
Cantilever gates can open up to a maximum of 8 meters and have a height of up to 3.6 meters whilst still performing trouble free. The gate has an opening and closing speed of 200mm per second whilst offering a smooth and quiet operation.

The cantilever gate can have additional security topping and is also electric fence compatible.
The gate is supported on posts with high quality rollers to reduce noise and vibration. A selection of motors are available. For more sophisticated installations the Eagle PLC can be used to interface to other access systems, traffic light control or air locks for high security.
